Dr. Azman Firdaus Shafii

(Founder, Chairman and CEO)
As a Colombo Plan Scholar, Dr Azman studied at the University of Sydney, Australia where he graduated with the ICI Australia and New Zealand Prize for Chemical Engineering. He then went to Aston University, UK, to do his PhD in Computer Process Control, and later an MBA at Harvard Business School, USA. He first taught Chemical Engineering and Computer Programming at University Malaya, and moved on to hold top management positions in public listed companies such as Golden Hope Plantations Berhad, Intria Berhad and Costain PLC, UK.

Putri Ibrizah Zahariman

(Project Manager)
Putri Ibrizah has 20 years experience in working industries. With her chemistry background from her Bachelor of Science in 1990 from USM, she has been involved in many aspects of quality assurance, quality engineering and project managements in the healthcare industries, oleo-chemical industry and the local universities. She has held positions in both Quality and Human Resources functions. She is currently one of the Industry Advisory Panel members for the Chemistry School of USM, Penang since 2007.

Nur Suhanawati Ashaari

(Protein Production Scientist)
Nur Suhanawati obtained her Bachelor of Science (Industrial Biology) at UTM in 2004 and Master of Science (Bioscience) at UTM on 2008. Nur Suhanawati has the expertise in protein works involving protein expression, protein purification and characterization, immunoassays and also bio-conjugation of protein.

Suganti Ramarad

(Material Scientist)

Suganti obtained her Bachelor of Engineering (Polymer) at USM in 2006 and Masters of Engineering (Polymer) at USM in 2008. Suganti is an expert in polymeric coating and chemical synthesis to build and develop outstanding surface coatings for protein microarray functionality. She is currently in-charged of handling Nanoplotter, Biacore and Innoscan equipments for the company.

DZULAIKHA BT. KHAIRUDDIN

(Molecular Biologist)

Dzulaikha obtained her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology and minor in Psychology in 2006 and Master of Science (Microbial Biotechnology) at USM. Dzulaikha has the expertise in molecular field (PCR, designing primers, cloning and analysis of sequence data). She is currently engaged in conducting cell-free protein synthesis technology and applying her experiences and skills in carrying out research for development of Protein Array Technology.

Hemalatha Natchatra

(Laboratory Administrator)

Hemalatha obtained her Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) at UM in 2006. Hema has an experience working in environmental laboratory as a Microbiologist, in detecting E.coli, coliform and Fecal coliform from water quality system as well as validating new method for detecting microbes in water quality system.

Nor Azurah Mat Akhir

(Research Officer)

Azurah obtained her Bachelor of Science (Biology) at UKM in 2006 and Masters of Engineering (Bioprocess) at UTM in 2010. She has various experiences in molecular fields and cell culture works. She is now conducting and managing the lab and helping the scientists in the development of Protein Array technology.

Sri Noraima Othman

(Bioinformatician)

Sri Noraima obtained her Bachelor of Science (Bioinformatic) at UM in 2006. She furthered her studies at Cosmopoint International University College and has Aptech Certified Computer Professional (Open Source Technologies) in 2007. She has experience with bioinformatics tools and biological research.

Uma Magheswary Kavarappan

(Bioinformatician)

Uma Magheswary obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at AIMST in 2009. She has the expertise in microbiology works involving antimicrobial screening, immunology and bacterial genetics. She also possesses knowledge in the field of bioinformatics involving data mining, annotation and analysis activities including: interpreting complex biological information: adding value to basic genomic and proteomic data research.

Mohammed Yacoob Abdullah Humayun

(Business Analyst)
Mohammed Yacoob obtained his Bachelor of Comp Science (Software Engg), International Islamic University Malaysia in 2008. He later furthered his studies in Master of E-Business Mgt (Marketing & Strategy), International University of Japan in 2009. He is currently the Assistant Manager for Business Development at Quantum Beez. He has 3 yrs experience as a market research analyst for clients like DHL, Canon, Digi, Ricoh, Bouygues Telecom (France) and Intervet Schering-Plough (Japan).
